looking at the music you play... I think that you will find that there isn't any place in Harrisburg for that genre unless you latch onto a show with someone at the Dragonfly... which shows are few and far between

I don't think their eyes will be that tired, just have to ask, what's the worst that could happen...they might say no, that's it. Have you tried Smalls on 2nd St or the quarter? Maybe you could even try other bars/clubs outside of Hbg 1st, but in the area, try Johnny Joes in Mechanicsburg or Tubby's, check out the venues other bands in the area are booked for and go from there....good luck, I think you guys sound pretty good....

smalls on 2nd isn't there anymore.....
The problem is traveling that far now a days isn't worth it anymore. You'd have to pray to the merch gods that
people just got paid and hate sitting on their wads cuz that's the only money you'll make...
Perfect example is the stellar shows they've had at D-fly that sold hardly any (reasonably priced) tickets....
The metal towns are in the coal regions.... Scranton Al-Tuna.... that's where the shows for metal are...
oh and York... but nobody like to go to York for any number of reasons....

Wow...that goes to show how long it's been since I've been out to see a decent metal band...that's sad. You could always try Sorb's in Liverpool, they don't have as many bands as they used to but I know that for certain bands, non-pop music, there was always a good turnout. I know quite a few other metalheads that would be there for a decent metal band in a heartbeat...myself being one of them...

I agree! You guys sound good! What studio did you use? We recorded it in Harrisburg / Linglestown at a place called Decopolis Laps. I tried searching for some contact info, but I have failed. (I have found some other interesting things while searching... but all that got me was a blister on my palm!) If you could message me or Voxboy some contact info, that would be great! In return, I would like to try to hook you up with a couple shows. I like your tunes. |
