The band is based in La, Ca. featuring singer/ guitarist Daniel Davies (son of Dave Davies of The KINKS!),
Bassist Rich Mullins (formerly of the riff rock legends KARMA TO BURN) and the drummer of 8 times platinum recording artists THIRD EYE BLIND...Brad Hagreaves.
Brad is still in 3EB and juggles touring and recording with both bands.

Rich Mullins (bassist) and I have a mutual friend that introduced us back in 1998. My band Anthrophobia played shows with Karma To Burn when they were on tour and close to Philadelphia, Reading, etc. After Karma To Burn broke up, Rich joined Speed Dealer from Texas, and then disappeared to Holland with a serious drug problem.

Fast forward to 2005: Our mutual friend gave Rich my phone number. Rich was cleaned up, happy, focused, and in a new band, Year Long Disaster. He wanted to do shows with Anthrophobia on the east coast to get YLD out of California to prove the band could make it on the road. We toured together in December 2005 and Spring of 2006, playing 25 shows all over the east coast including Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Reading and Philadelphia repeatedly. Year Long Disaster definitely turned heads in our area.

2008: Anthrophobia has retired as I focus more on my label, drp records, producing studio recordings and promoting shows. Drp's newest releases are limited edition split 7 inch vinyl singles with digital download bonus tracks. Our next release is in January, this month. The single with feature an unreleased song by Year Long Disaster and like-minded rockers, Backwoods Payback from West Chester, Pa. I produced the Backwoods Payback recordings and thought the songs from each band complimented the other very well.
Anthrophobia, Backwoods Payback and Year Long Disaster played a handful of shows together from 2005-2007. The band members all hit it off and became friends. So, the pairing really made alot of sense to have them put out the single and do a string of area shows together with me on board as promoter and label.
Year Long Disaster's self titled CD is in stores/ on line NOW. I am putting out the NEW 7inch this month and the NEXT full length CD by the band will be Fall of 2009.
