I can't believe people around here would pay $1000 to see this clown in the first place...but whatever...

Republican presidential candidate and U.S. Senator John McCain has canceled a planned visit to the Harrisburg area on Thursday.
McCain was scheduled to attend a $1,000 per-person luncheon at the West Shore Country Club and tour Turbine Airfoil Designs, a manufacturer of parts for aircraft and construction equipment, on North Cameron Street in Harrisburg.
A spokesman for the McCain campaign, Charlie Adams, told abc27 News the presumptive GOP nominee canceled the visit because of business in the Senate.
The luncheon at the Country Club will go on as scheduled, with former presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani filling in for McCain.
"Since he left the presidential race he has been extremely supportive of the Senator and his candidacy," said Leslie Gromis Baker, a member of McCain's campaign staff. "I know he said he would do anything he could do to help."
The 125 people who purchased tickets will also get a chance to meet McCain when he does come to central Pennsylvania in the next few weeks.
"Obviously people were disappointed, but they totally understand," Gromis Baker said. "They know it's not his control, he doesn't schedule the votes."
Workers at Turbine Airfoil Designs were disappointed by the news. "They were really excited," said company President Ben Frazier. "They cleaned places that hadn't been cleaned in the plant in quite a while."
Frazier hopes McCain will stop by the plant during a future visit. He says campaign officials have indicated that might happen.
