I wonder why the mainstream media didn't pick this story up... I happened upon the following link today: www.prisonplanet.com/articles/november2007/191107_zogby_poll.htmstating that Ron Paul had won a nationwide Zogby blind poll in November. I thought to myself...I would've had to have heard about this if it were really true...so I investigated further and found the link to the press release on Zogby's page: www.zogby.com/News/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1391The blind poll contained bios for Paul, Romney, Thompson, and Giuliani. Although Paul did not win among Republican voters, he overwhelmingly won among a sample size of 1009 people (almost three times larger than the number of Republicans alone) including Independent and Democrat voters. The sample included a majority of people that rarely or never use youtube, myspace, or facebook. This gives you an idea of the type of people that these land-line based Zogby polls typically target (and perhaps the reason why Ron Paul typically fares so poorly in these polls). If by some flook Ron Paul were to get the Republican nomination, he might actually fare pretty well against Obama.
