An excerpt from an email I received today: Tomorrow kicks off signature gathering for the primaries. We need to gather signatures to get Ron Paul on the ballot in PA, and just as important, delegates and alternate delegates to go to the national convention. The minimum is 250 signatures per delegate/alternate, but we want to go for 450-500. So as you can see, your participation is very important. We have the delegates and alternates picked and the paperwork ready. All of you who live in the 19th district part of Cumberland County (if Todd Platts is your Congressman) are invited to come out to our meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 pm and every Tuesday for three weeks after that (until Feb 5 th) to sign the petitions. Please bring your Voter ID card. Since this is coming together on such short notice, there may be a possibility that we will have other times/locations where you can stop by and sign the petition forms. More news on that later if/when it manifests. Please visit our webpage at: www.Ronpaul.meetup.com/183 And feel free to sign up. Those of you in the 9th District part of Cumberland County (if Schuster is your Congressman) are urged to get in touch with the Chambersburg meetup group at: www.Ronpaul.meetup.com/775

Ron Paul Turns in Signatures to Appear on Pennsylvania Republican Primary Ballot
ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul’s campaign has collected the signatures necessary to appear on the April 22 Pennsylvania Republican primary ballot.
“I am extremely pleased to announce that Ron Paul will be on the Commonwealth's April 22nd GOP primary election ballot,” said Ron Paul 2008 national field director Debbie Hopper. “Just 2,000 valid nomination signatures were required to secure a ballot position, but well-organized petition teams and extraordinary determination by scores of petition circulators resulted in a total of almost 10,000 signatures to get Congressman Paul on the ballot.”
Congressman Ron Paul is one of three Republicans still in the race for the Republican nomination for President.
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
