for these next primary elections? I am.....I hope my candidate is still on the ballot by then.......if not I'm writing him in anyway and somehow I'm going to get involved more in things locally....to me, it's the only way to change things....I'm not sure how yet. I just know that things need to change for the better and if they don't I want an inside track and answers as to why they problems are not getting corrected. Anyone else?

if you have the time, getting involved in local politics is probably the way to go. a lot less people are physically involved with things on a local level, which makes your voice a lot more powerful. for instance, a few parents will show up for a vote at a school board meeting and end up deciding for the entire school district how money will be appropriated.
nationally, I feel like we're at a real cross-roads, making this election one of, if not the, most important in my lifetime. I obviously have my candidate that I am backing, but I've been trying to encourage people that I come across to get more involved, figure out who they like, and vote...even if it's not for the same person that I'm pulling for.

I encourage everyone to get more involved in the political process. The decisions the government makes affects our lives in so many ways but the people have been apathetic for too long. I guess as long as the beer is flowing and the sports are showing, no one gives a damn.
