Actually, Bain Capital LLC is purchasing Clear Channel, which is a separate entity from Bain & Co, Inc. Romney actually left Bain Capital in 1998 when he took over the Salt Lake USOC venture. He did return to Bain & Co. in early 1990 to help get them out of trouble.
I am not saying he does not have any influence (because I am sure he does), I am just correcting the fact that it is no longer his company.

....you are correct......but in the whole scheme of things it is splitting hairs...
it seems as though his 2 current partners in Bain Co. are the owners of Bain Capital (T. Coleman Andrews III and Eric Kriss)......so there are definitely some MAJOR ties to Clear Channel......am I correct on this?
Giuliani has all kinds of tentacles in his law firm as well

Oh, I know it is splitting hairs, but I was just pointing it out :-)
They all have ties to something or another. That is how they get to where they are. Giuliani also started a security firm right after 9/11. I was actually offered a job with them, but there is no way you would ever get me to move north, let alone NYC.
