I think I posted on this awhile ago....but does anyone else know anything more on it: Electric rates will be going up 39% in 2009 because the state government's cap on it expires and the rate will jack up......apparently this is due to the fact that the state was supposed to hold up it's end of the bargain (not sure what that entailed), but dropped the ball and now we will all be seeing our bills go up.
that on top of everything else should leave plenty of expendable income for everyone! hooray!
