I'm still trying to figure what global warming has to do with peace on this earth? I also find it hard to believe no other human in this world has done or is doing anything for peace.
This is the most fucked up thing I've seen.

No it could have been a republican and I'd still have the same thoughts.
I'm sure there are people in the middle east that are risking their lives every day working towards peace.
I'm just having a Lewis Black moment and feel like my god damn head is going to explode.

The Nobel Peace prize has different subcategories that do not necessarily deal with actual peace.
It could be the unification of consciousness between nations... which is basically what Dan was saying...
Knowing who is a republican and who is a democrat and forming a chain of thought based on those two words is an idiot... think for your own damn self....

Don't forget Jim... he also won an Oscar and a Grammy. Kind of reminds me of when the Dixie Chicks won a Grammy after their album sales went to hell after saying they were embarrassed to be from the same state as the President . Liberal redemption I guess.

I can see an Oscar, but the Nobel Peace Prize? PLEEEEEEEZE!!!
I saw a news story about an American hiker in Pakistan and Afghanistan (sp ?) setting up schools for children in remote mountain villages. He was kidnapped a few times and even had his life threatened, yet he continues doing it. His theory is the more educated the youths are in these countries, the better off in the future everyone will be. Peace in the future, I guess you could call it.
Al Gore makes a film with proven lies on "global warming" and gets rewarded for a propaganda piece.
Don't get me started on his scam of carbon foot print vouchers. Plus the fucker tells everyone else what to do and fly's around in his private jet causing more harm to the enviroment himself than a freeway full of SUV's.

That's why I have trouble even speaking with most liberals who put people like Gore on some kind of pedestal. This guy decides Global Warming is his cause and makes up a bunch of it just to feel important. Clinton basically went away.... why won't Al and his dumb ass wife?
