...perhaps Mickulz can find a site with an opposite viewpoint for this as well. The more you can exercise your minds the better. Just use your common sense when determining your answers. www.sonyclassics.com/whywefight/or how about? : www.gregpalast.com/section/articlesjournalist for The London Guardian and the BBC that'll give you some work to do too, my friends

It is funny you mention the Sony Films picture. I agree with that movie 100% (for the most part). I will check out the other link.

Alright, now we are getting somewhere. I appreciate it. Now can I count on you if we are to get some sort of issue-based roundtable going in here? You've got strong, intelligent viewpoints and so do I, and every other intelligent person in here....even the non-intelligent ones do have views. We are all in this thing together, so for boredoms sake let's tackle a few issues and see if we can't negotiate to a solution like Congress should be doing now. Immigration first, Iraq, Min. Wage, Israel, there are so few to choose from. Now that we are on this, do you think it's just an accident so many things are fucked up? What first pick a topic and let's start a post and see what solution if any we can work up from all sides of view.

I will discuss most anything except religion. I refuse to get in to that debate.

Immigration first, Iraq, Min. Wage, Israel Immigration - immediate removal of all illegals will not raise wages, but rather raise prices Iraq - We started it, we need to clean it up whether we like it or not Min. Wage - Immediate raises will cause a great deal of inflation. Coupled with the removal of illegals, this will cause the poor to become even poorer. There must be a yin to every yang. Israel - If the Arabs put down their weapons, there will be peace. If Israel puts down their weapons, there will be genocide. Didn't Hitler already try that? We sorta need to side with Israel.

Immigration - Agreed Min Wage - Agree for the most part, but there are ways to contact this. Israel - Disagree. You can not compare Hitler to any of these. We (the US) need to stay out of it. This is a conflict that dates back long before the US was even around. We have no place in this war. Until it becomes a threat to the US and it's people, then it should be addressed. I do not mind other countries trying to negotiate peace, but we must stay out of it as a military force. As far as the Arabs laying down their weapons, I think you mean the militant dissidents and terrorists. The Arab nations and Muslims are NOT in support of what Hamas and Hezbollah are doing. As far as Iraq - I could not have said it better. Right or wrong, we did it, now we much clean it up.

I only meant the comparison to Hitler as the genocide part, not the means of the killing itself, and only hypothetically. Should've been clearer on my part.

Gotcha.
I was looking more at motivation comparison.
