while non-violent civil disobedience like sit ins or marches or picketing might get some news coverage it does nothing really effective and is mostly just an annoyance to the "powers that be".
in order to really make a difference i suggest reading up on the american revolution, the boston tea party and other such pro-active activities.
much like making an omelette, real change will not happen without breaking a few eggs.
remember the million man march?
ever wonder what a million man march with guns could accomplish?
remember the beltway sniper?
ever wonder what two to three man sniper teams in each state could accomplish?
hippies don't get shit done.
it will be the revolutionaries labeled as "domestic terrorists" who will get the ball of change really rolling.
OBLIGATORY DISCLAIMER: i, in no way, shape or form advocate violence against innocent citizenry or any attempt to overthrow the current government.

Eh, I am all about non-violence.
I have no real opinion on this to be honest. Things like this always seem to get out of hand, and innocent people get hurt.
But we all know I LOVE the Boston Tea Party *grin and wink*
