Oh I knew that was coming! I've been getting crap for years so it'll be nothing new!!! This has actually been done before. Edwards was on a sprint car at the Knoxville Speedway in Iowa last year and someone was on a car years ago but I forget who. I did just read that the Ron Paul thing is not affiliated with his campaign, just fans putting it together. Apparently they already have the O.K. from Doug Yates racing who fields cars for David Gilliliand, Ricky Rudd and Stephen Leicht. It looks like it's just a money issue now.

The fact that they are using #28 has totally turned me off to this project. I hope it does not even qualify.

Plus they have Travis Kvapil behind the wheel... making his 2nd shot at Cup. Currently $9,400.... hardy enough for a full time sponsor even for one race. Not sure what race they want to sponsor the car in though.
