seanx.... that's fine if you think I follow all all these "agenda-based media figures" and I don't mind when we go back and forth but the stupidity thing is what I have a problem with. Then the fact that you say "I'm lazy and part of the problem??? " How do you know what I read? How do you know the stuff you read isn't "skewed" or part of some agenda?
Sorry I don't recognize you by your screen name..... message me so I know who you are.
So I have one more question..... if the elections are fixed why do you even bother? Why read up on all this stuff, unlike me and the 90% of the other lazy people that are part of the problem? Why post on this message board? Why get so mad you call me names? What's your point? Seems like you waste a TON of time reading and doing research on something you feel you have no control over. I don't feel that way so I'll keep at it.

Oh, on the Guy (Guido) Fawkes side of the discussion. I find it absolutely funny that people who are all for the constitutional reformation movements (ie, getting back to very basics of the Constitution), and I am not attacking Ron Paul or most of his supporters, are using Guy Fawkes masks like they are meant for "revolution". They really need to go back and read their history. Too many of them see "V for Vendetta" (which btw is one of my favorite movies of all time, and a great graphic novel) and think that Guy Fawkes was all about getting rid of the government. The basic fact is it was a religious battle that would go on to this day in England (Prots vs. Caths). The more I start to compare life to the movie it starts to hit me....
Maybe Ron Paul is not the answer, but he sure as hell has been a catalyst for a movement. I am not saying I am throwing my support his way. He has awoken many people and like Sean has pointed out, maybe they will start thinking and looking at change.

...sayten.....I wish I could come out and see you play, but I've got a ton of work to catch up on
....MicKulz....Morals and Dogma was a sucky read, much like Bacon's essays: a whole lot of philosophical and egotistical mumbo-jumbo, but there were a few telling passages (remember he was HIGHLY looked upon by the brotherhood at one point; until he forced them to do a lot of damage control in later years). Reading Tesla because I want to be fully knowledgeable before I throw myself 100% into attempting to replicate some of his patents and experiments. I'm not going into this one blindly......like when I built the Souder desk and had 3 screw left over....this time I could end up dead if I did that.
.....Jeff....oh brutha, how about you just come to a debate or posting with correct information to back up your statements? That would stop me from thinking you are dumb. Don't give me info and then when I question it, go check it out and find it is wrong. Check first, then post. As to all your other questions, I'm not even going to bother addressing them, because I have explained it all before and if you really care, go look up my old postings. Take some notes from MicKulz. He and I don't agree on a lot of things, but he brings data and sources to the argument. This helps things out greatly and shows me he actually gives a shit and has brains. I respect him for it and even though our ideologies and opinions of those facts may differ, I know where he is coming from and vice versa. Finally I wasn't angry....frustrated and bored by your post, but not angry. (Remember the gun control topic and Ron Paul.....that would be a good example of disinformation that you were just throwing out there without first checking.....wouldn't you be frustrated?).

Actually, he was only highly looked upon by the Southern Jurisdiction. The rest of the US (the other 80%) did not even know he existed. That was a time when things were very split in the country. Good luck with the experiments. Can I take out some insurance on you?

Just because you read a bunch of books written by guys who also think they've been abducted and that aliens live among us, doesn't mean any of the crap you post is true... you are the typical conspiracy theorist that believes in New World Orders and fixed elections and all the other BS. My opinions on things are based on my own ideas, not those of others. I think it's funny how you attack my point of views and say I don't bring facts when you just regurgitate a bunch of nonsense and throw your support behind some guy that has no chance of changing anything in our country. So actually, I'm beginning to find you are the dumb one..... like I posted before, why do you even care about any of this is it's all fixed? Where's your "correct information" on that? again, I won't wait, I'll just let you call me more names.

....ok perhaps this will rectify the situation and move things forward: I was wrong Jeff, you are very intelligent. I apologize for saying your post was stupid and you aren't smart. Stop taking things I say on this board so seriously.
....and the only aliens I've seen are the illegal type (you know, the one's our tax money is going to funding all their social services)(not the one's from outer space)

I abducted an alien. Had a hard time getting him to fit in my bong.
I hate Hillary Clinton. I like what Ron Paul is saying. At least he is saying something and is relatively away fromt he clutches of Big Oil, Medicine, and the insurance industry. I don't think one President can really change our way of life. Unless George W gets us into another war. Only the aliens can help now.

Dude, I don't care if you disagree with 100% with what I say or think, that's what I like about discussions on here..... just didn't like being called "dumb, lazy and part of the problem." Now I agree, let's just get back to disagreeing with each other and no more name calling..... you can curse me under your breath..... just leave it out of here. Cool?
p.s. I also apologize for the shit I said about you.... I was just pissed. I do believe you are way more "in the know" on most of what's going on..... I don't get too into until later on so I'll look forward to your future posts....whether I agree or not.

if you want a list of good books to read, between myself and MicKulz, I'm sure there are some that you'll find extremely interesting......let me know, trust me, I can tell you the one's not to read because I've read some of those too (Morals and Dogma, for one)..........and I have NO agenda except for equality of people and Constitutional rights

NO DON'T BUY MORALS AND DOGMA! It is horrible. Here is one you might be interested in: A Nation Betrayed by James Bo Gritz. The author was the most decorated green beret in history and it's the true story of his attempts to get POWs out of Vietnam/Cambodia/Laos and what he uncovered in the process. Read it and then judge whether you believe him or his detractors who came out of the woodwork when he blew the whistle on what he witnessed.
Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler is a great book to get a firsthand look inside this man's mind. It also gives a different look at what the history of the world was between the World Wars and why he felt he had to take things into his own hands. You can't get a better understanding of what the guy was thinking because these are his own words.
The Botherhood (the secretw orld of the freemasons) by Stephen Knight is an interesting study of Freemasonry in Great Britain and how they are really a society within a society. The publisher of the book attempted to stop the author from releasing it after he spent 2 years investigating and writing it.
Maverick Marine: General Smedley D. Butler and the Contradictions of American Military History by Hans Schmidt this one is the true story of the marine general who stopped the US government from being overthrown from within....a little known fact that is very revealing in that it shows who truly holds the power within our government.
plus I've got plenty of others but I'll let MicKulz throw some suggestions in.

anyone else notice that when ron paul raised over $4 million online in one day, the online mainstream media outlets barely made mention of it? although the AP published an article about it at 12 midnight, MSNBC was the first of the majors to finally "break" the story at 10 am and you really had to dig on the other sites to find any reference to his historic feat of fundraising. to contrast, the top headline on foxnews.com today is that mike huckabee raised a little over a million dollars in the first 20 days of november. wonder if the coverage has anything to do with the fact that he's a baptist minister and better fits image of what a supposed candidate for the republican should look like. he's also suddenly "surging" in iowa, which can be a good indicator of viability of candidacy. I strongly urge any of you that support ron paul to make a donation to his campaign...even if it's only a few dollars. when it comes to elections, the winning candidate is (unfortunately) often times the one that raises the most money. if you'd like to educate yourself on where ron paul stands on the issues, check out the following link: www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/in my opinion he is the most sensible and level-headed of all of the candidates running for president this time around, and he is definitely worth consideration for your vote. as an aside, mike huckabee has the celebrity endorsement of chuck norris. he's currently running a television ad that appears on his website and is also airing in iowa. “My plan to secure the border? Two words; Chuck Norris." ha

I'll check 'em out Seanx.... also one I recommend, just for a cool story, is John McCain's story of being a POW..... politics aside, he was a mentally strong guy the VC tried to use to demoralize other POW's due to the fact they knew his Dad was an Admiral. Just had a lot of respect for him after I read it. I'll look into those, got a library membership a month or so ago so I mine as well use it.
On the Mike Huckabee ads.... I thought they were pretty funny! Just saw one on YouTube today.

I'm not sure how many of those books you will find in the library....
McCain might have a good story but I find his amnesty agenda disturbing and the fact that he was pals with Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson (anyone who follows those two numbskulls has got a screw loose).....after I get reading the hundred or so books I've got lined up and sitting here, I'll try and squeeze that one in (just for you)

freddyv...I noticed it and I think I even posted on it....the mainstream media is trying to downplay anything Ron Paul related.....why? because the media is sponsored by big corporations just like the other candidates.....Paul is for the average American citizen....wake up America!
Fox News is a neocon propaganda machine and Rupert Murdoch even said so in several interviews. He will change the news to make it fit his agenda. They even reported that last year the Congress passed a law requiring all children to be vaccinated.....never happened. Scare tactics from the NWO regime....let's give our youth more doses of heavy metal poisoning (good name for a band by the way: heavy metal toxins)

Yeah you'd have to put his politics aside and just try to think of him as a Naval Aviator and a POW to enjoy it. I REALLY wanted to like him as a politician...... didn't happen. I appreciate the squeeze attempt! Which of your suggestions would you recommend I read first?

I'd say try "A Nation Betrayed" first.....you may have to go to Amazon or Ebay to get it....I think it may be a collector's item currently (and people say there isn't any censorship)....but you can sometimes find a used copy for 20 dollar range and when you're finished it you can just resell it ..... remind me to tell you an interesting story of how I stumbled onto the book (the one I have is plastic bindered and old fashioned type written). Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to all who read this post.

Ron Paul Supporter Shooting For $2 Million Haul In One Week ...
Backer's maverick online fundraising schemes are only fitting for maverick presidential candidate.
By Gil Kaufman
Ron Paul's cyber-backers are at it again. Three weeks after setting a record by raising $4.2 million in one day for the anti-war GOP candidate's dark-horse bid for the White House, Paul's online supporters are trying to raise another $2.5 million this week to help Paul get TV ads on the air as soon as possible in crucial primary states.
And, as in the previous fundraising frenzy, this one is being led by a volunteer: 37-year-old Miami political novice Trevor Lyman, founder of the online music promotions firm Music Submit. Like the November 5 push, which was based around the Web site ThisNovember5th.com, the latest push is courtesy of RudysReadingList.com, which combines images of books decrying the failure of American policy in the Iraq war with footage of Paul discussing his views on foreign policy. The goal this time is to push Paul's campaign past the $12 million mark for the fourth quarter by soliciting donations $100 at a time.
"Coming off the 2006 election, we basically told Democrats, "It's time to get out of the war," which is what we voted for, not a change in strategy and to stay in the war," said Lyman, who has never before voted in a presidential election or donated to a political candidate. "I learned about Ron Paul and saw his voting record and how he foresaw the problems in the war, and it was refreshing to find someone who was so consistent in what he says. I was under the assumption that the system worked, like a lot of Americans were, so becoming active is a way to take back the will of the people now."
As of Tuesday (November 27), Rudy's Reading List had already gotten 1,956 pledges (close to $200,000) before Friday's "Ron Paul Mass Donation Day." The new site highlights the Texas congressman's maverick foreign-policy stance, which differs from most of his GOP rivals in calling for a pullout of troops from Iraq and a non-interventionist foreign policy. Though at press time, Lyman was well short of the 25,000 pledges he'll need to reach his goal, his latest effort is another example of the volunteer army Paul has inspired across the country, which includes thousands of college kids who've organized Paul groups on hundreds of campuses.
Lyman said he originally planned to stage the second money push over the weekend of December 15 and 16, to coincide with Bill of Rights Day and the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, respectively, dates chosen to appeal to the Libertarian streak that has inspired the retired physician's cult-like following. The Web site for that challenge, TeaParty07.com, had already raised more than $2 million in pledges out of the $10 million goal, at press time. But on November 20, Paul's fundraising director, Jonathan Bydlak, e-mailed a list of supporters to tell them that the money might be too late to help cover what's needed in the next few weeks.
"During the first few days of October, we announced our fundraising goal for the fourth quarter: $12 million raised by December 31," Bydlak wrote in a note posted on DailyPaul.com. "But there's more: We need to have spent it by then too. If we were to raise the entire $12 million in the last week of December, we would meet our fundraising goal for the quarter. But Ron Paul would stand little chance of winning the Republican nomination, because that money would have come in too late. ... If you wait a month from now to donate, your money will only be spent after Iowa caucus-goers and New Hampshire primary voters have made up their minds." The urgent letter inspired Lyman to post Rudy's Reading List the very next day.
"Now we have another chance to get mentions in the media about Dr. Paul closing in on his goal of raising $12 million," Lyman said of the site. "Then we'll be in the media again at the end of the month and again when we say we beat our own prediction that nobody thought we'd do." With the original $4 million so-called "money bomb" generating a 3 percent bump in some polls, Lyman thinks the $12 million effort could result in a double-digit bump by the end of December. And, as usual, the entire effort is being done on a volunteer basis, with no input or help from the Paul campaign.
The Reading List site's name is inspired by a tense exchange Paul had with fellow GOP candidate Rudy Giuliani at a May presidential debate, during which Giuliani lambasted Paul for suggesting that U.S. actions in the Middle East had helped provoke the September 11 terror attacks. Paul countered by pointing Giuliani to sections of the 9/11 Commission Report and books such as "Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire," which he said supported his stance.
In keeping with his maverick money-raising schemes, Lyman — who has never met Paul but has spoken to him once — is also behind one of the most unconventional grassroots Paul pushes: an effort to raise $350,000 to launch a "Ron Paul Blimp" that would fly around the country touting Paul's candidacy. At press time, more than $272,000 had already been pledged to the stunt. "That one was all my idea," he said from his former home state of New Hampshire, where he has traveled to meet other Paul supporters. "People liked the idea, but they didn't think we could raise the money to do it. Now we see that we can raise the money and what the media can do, and it's a lot of fun. When people see what we're willing to do, they'll think, 'He must be really special.' "
On RonPaulBlimp.com, Lyman writes, "Imagine the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the Ron Paul blimp is shown to tens of millions of Americans throughout the day (and throughout the month). ... [CNN's] Wolf Blitzer, stunned as if in a trance, repeats the words, 'Amazing, Amazing.' As GPS coordinates stream to the Web site, a map shows the Ron Paul blimp's location in real time. The local television stations broadcast its every move. The curious flock together and make a trip to see history in the making. E-mails with pictures are sent, then forwarded, then forwarded again. YouTube videos go viral and reach tens of millions of views. Ron Paul becomes the first presidential candidate in history to have his very own blimp. The PR stunt generates millions upon millions of dollars' worth in free publicity, and captures the imagination of America."
And he's not done yet. Lyman said he has already secured the name of yet another site for a possible January 15 stunt to coincide with the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. "MLK had a dream, and I think Ron Paul can make it a reality," Lyman said.

Ron Paul really hit a grand slam with the answer to the CFR, North American Union, NAFTA superhighway conspiracy question! Now more people will go research these subjects and have their eyes opened!! This is the REAL reason behind all the illegal immigration!
Ron Paul for president!! He speaks the TRUTH, people. That's very very rare for a politician!!
